Rimmel Sweet Retreat

Today I’ll review Rimmels Sweet Retreat.

Rimmel and Rita Ora collaborated for the second time and it resulted in 12 new nail polishes and 6 lippglosses.

Sweet Retreat is a very soft and sweet pink crème polish. Because of the pastel tint Sweet Retreat is very suitable for the Spring season. This kind of pink shade isn’t unique but will always come in handy.

The formula of Sweet Retreat is very good. It isn’t so thin that it will flood your cuticles and not so thick that it will become lumpy. On the swatches I’ve only applied one thin coat and as you can see it’s complete opaque. The polish levels very nice so you’ll end up with a smooth manicure.

Rimmel Sweet Retreat has a very beautiful glossy finish. All the Rita Ora polishes I’ve tried out have this gorgeous finish. On the swatches above I didn’t apply a separate topcoat.
Although Rimmel claims that this polish will stay in place for 10 day I already had chips after a day or two. With a good topcoat you can endure the wear time of your manicure. With a matte topcoat Sweet Retreat is very lovely.

I think the Rimmel polishes are a great success, considering the price. I love these colors and will wear them pretty often I think.

You can buy the Rita Ora polishes at Superdrug.
