“This elegant Little-Black-Dress black is a must-have.”
Today, I’ll show you the last shade from the OPI Breakfast at Tiffany’s collection. This collection was the 2016 Christmas collection but all the beautiful colors are perfectly suitable to wear even in this season.
The Breakfast at Tiffany’s collection consists of the following colors:
- I Believe in Manicures
- Champagne for Breakfast
- Black Dress Not Optional
- Rich & Brazilian
- Meet My “Decorator”
- Got the Mean Reds
- Fire Escape Rendezvous
- Breakfast at Tiffany’s
- Sunrise… Bedtime!
- Can’t read without my lipstick
- Apartment for Two
OPI Black Dress Not Optional is a black metallic shade that tend more towards a beautiful anthracite gray color. The polish contains a very fine silver glitter that gives it a more luxurious look.
On the macro picture below you can clearly see the tiny glitter in this polish.
OPI Black Dress Not Optional has a fairly thin formula so you have to make sure that you work in thin coats to prevent the polish from flooding the cuticles. With the first coat Black Dress Not Optional seems to be extremely sheer. On the swatches I have applied three very thin coats and that is enough to get a fully opaque result. When you apply a dark color like this it’s wise to use a good basecoat to prevent the natural nail from discoloring.
The Pro-Wide brush that comes with the OPI polishes is a very nice quality brush. It’s a bit on the wide side and fans out nice on the nail. If you have a smaller nailbed you can turn the brush and use the smaller side.
OPI Black Dress Not Optional has a beautiful shine but with a shiny topcoat it’s even more gorgeous. On the swatches I have applied OPI Start to Finish as a basecoat.
The Breakfast at Tiffany’s collection is available in full size 15ml bottles and a mini pack containing four mini bottles of 3,75ml. Click here to find an OPI dealer near you.
Have a great weekend!
