I have been using the Lancôme Advanced Génifique serum for about a month and a half and today I’ll give you my opinion about the product.
As you might have noticed, the appearance of my has changed a little bit. It’s been quiet for a while on the blog due to several, personal reasons. A new look and a new beginning! From now I’ll post at least one article a week. I have several nice products waiting to be reviewed. I hope you like the new look.
A while ago I received a lovely package from Lancôme containing the new Advanced Génifique serum. Since that day I use the product twice a day during my skincare routine.
The Lancôme products always come in a nice and luxurious packaging. I know that the packaging doesn’t do anything for my skin but I have a soft spot for luxurious packaging.
The Lancôme Advanced Génifique serum comes in a black, shiny box containing the glass bottle. The glass bottle contains a build in pipette that automatically fills itself when you put the cap back on the bottle.
Because of the pipette you have less change of transferring bacteria into the product but you can also dose perfectly.

The product consists mainly of good ingredients including a high dose of vitamin C. Vitamin C is one of the best ingredients to be used in skin care products. Due to the presence of vitamin C, the serum reduces the appearance of visible fine lines and gives the skin a smooth look and feel.
The serum has a semi-transparent, thin texture that doesn’t have a very pleasing fragrance. Two drops is enough for the entire face, making the product really economical to use. The serum spreads easily on the skin and is quickly absorbed without leaving a sticky layer. I wait for about 5 minutes before applying my day or night cream.
By itself my skin is in quite a good condition, mainly due to the fact that I’m on a tight skin care routine since I was a teenager. Yet after a few weeks I noticed a subtle difference, my skin had become more even and two little scare are supple and less noticeable. I can’t tell you much about it’s effectiveness against dry lines because my skin care products are doing a pretty good job avoiding them from showing up.
In the end I am very satisfied with this product, even my extremely sensitive skin is accepting this serum well. I was somewhat hesitant due to the presence of fragrances in the product, but they are present in such small quantities that they aren’t causing any problems.
